How this works
This isn't a solo scoreboard — it's one board, and everyone on the roster is fighting over the same hexes at the same time. Post about a business, and the hex it sits in feels it. Bigger reach, wider blast radius — a huge post doesn't just win its own hex, it pushes into the ring around it too. Whoever hits hardest owns the hex, full stop, and it turns their color on the board — which means every hex you take is a hex somebody else didn't get. Nothing's locked in forever, either: go quiet too long and it fades back to neutral, open again for whoever shows up next. Zones is your live score, everything you're holding right now. Momentum is your form, hot or cold, this month. And Groves are the one thing that doesn't fade — hold a full city when a season locks in, and it's yours for good.
Playing it smart
Biggest post wins the hex, sure — but chasing one viral hit isn't the only way onto this board, and it's not even the best way in. Spread out, and you're playing a different game than whoever's farming the same three hexes on repeat — more zones touched means more chances to be the one name nobody can catch. White space counts double: real, untouched ground nobody's claimed yet is a free hex, no rival score to beat, just show up first. And the view tiers aren't only bragging rights — cross 10k views and the post stops winning just its own hex and starts pushing into the ring around it too. Cross 50k, that's two rings out. Cross 100k, three. One big post can put real pressure on dozens of hexes at once — that's the actual multiplier, not the view count by itself.
Zones
Your current score, not your career total. Every hex you win is worth points based on how big the post that took it was — a small post grabs 1 point, a 100k+ view monster grabs 4 and muscles into the hexes around it too. But points don't sit still. Everything you hold quietly loses value the longer it goes untouched, so an old win from months ago is worth less today than the day you took it. Zones adds it all up, fresh, every time the board updates. Stop posting, and the number starts sliding, even if nobody's taken your ground yet.
Groves
The one prize that doesn't fade. A city is seven hexes locked together — the anchor plus its six neighbors — and during the season, holding all seven scores exactly like any seven hexes would, nothing special. What IS special is the buzzer: whoever's holding the full city when a season phase closes gets crowned, permanently. No decay, no rematch, no losing it later. Nobody's been crowned yet — the first buzzer hasn't sounded.
Momentum
Different stat, different job. Zones moves slow — old wins take months to fully fade, so it can look steady even when someone's gone quiet, or look flat even when someone's on a heater, because decay's dragging the old stuff down at the same time. Momentum skips all that. It's your last 30 days against the 30 before, pure recent form, no lag. Green arrow, you're heating up. Red, you're cooling off. New, you just showed up and the board hasn't seen enough of you yet to call it.
